DSNS News of the Week 24.10-31.10.2025

The past week once again became a test for all of Ukraine. Russian forces continue their massive attacks on peaceful cities. Despite the daily danger, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) tirelessly fulfill their duty — pulling people from under the rubble, extinguishing fires, clearing mines, and saving the wounded.

1. Ihor Klymenko: For the second night in a row, Kyiv has been under targeted enemy strikes — three people are reported dead.

2. The “Community Rescue Officer” project has been fully implemented — Minister of Internal Affairs.

3. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a rescuer was killed and another wounded as a result of a repeated Russian missile strike.

4. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) has received 12 armored medical vehicles from the UNDP.

5. Russia carried out a series of strikes on the residential sector and infrastructure in Sumy.

6. In Zaporizhzhia, Russia carried out a combined strike on the regional centre and surrounding district.

7. An explosion occurred in a multi-story residential building in Khmelnytsky.

8. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) has become a laureate of the National Award “Treasure of the Nation 2025.”
