SESU News of the Week 5.12. – 12.12.2025

1. The Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine presented state and departmental awards to rescuers for their courage and dedication in service.

2. Kyiv region: Russian forces carried out a massive strike.

3. Sumy region: an airstrike hit a shop, killing two people.

4. Zaporizhzhia region: a Russian strike damaged a fire and rescue station.

5. Poltava region: following a Russian attack, fires broke out at industrial and energy infrastructure facilities.

6. Dnipropetrovsk region: as a result of overnight Russian attacks, one person was killed and five others injured, including two children.

7. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Service has received two mobile radiological laboratories from the United States and Norway.

8. Training without roads: in the Kyiv region, SESU rescuers practised operating all-wheel-drive vehicles.
